The Journey to Bangalore
Pastor Anish Mano Stephen moved to Bangalore in 2007 after being hired as a Software Engineer by Oracle Corporation. Despite being born and raised in a traditional Christian family and receiving the anointing and gift of tongues at age 12, his life was that of any other youth in Bangalore — enjoying a good social life, lots of friends, participation in various worldly pleasures while still attending church. His journey to full-time ministry began with a divine encounter that changed his life forever.
The Divine Encounter - 2008
On a regular day in 2008, Pastor Anish had a divine encounter through a senior pastor of a mega church at a car repair shop. After a brief conversation, that pastor began speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and revealed two things about him that only God and he knew. The pastor then said, "Young man, tomorrow I am baptizing you." This came as a shock and marked a turning point in his life. On that day he decided to follow Jesus and received salvation, bringing significant change to his life and developing a strong desire to serve the Lord.
The Call to Ministry
In 2009, the Holy Spirit enabled Pastor Anish to start a church in Bangalore City. His salvation and baptism brought significant change, and his heart's desire to serve the Lord drove him to give up his job as a Software Engineer in 2014 to devote his life to full-time ministry. Together with his wife Pastor Greeshma Mullakkara, who also gave up her job as a Software Engineer, they shepherded the congregation with love, wisdom, and biblical truth. Their family ministry demonstrates the power of God's love in action, inspiring others to walk in faith and purpose.
Global Ministry Vision
This incredible journey with Lord Jesus Christ continues strong, and God's favor and grace constantly drives Pastor Anish to proclaim the Gospel of Christ around the world through missions, television and media ministries, and educational resources. His ministry encompasses Revival Nights, a live YouTube ministry that reaches thousands globally, bringing hope and transformation to lives across nations. Pastor Anish's commitment to church planting, missions, and discipleship continues to expand the reach of the Gospel, establishing churches and training leaders who carry the vision of Hope In Jesus to new territories. His passion for revival and spiritual awakening drives the church's mission to impact communities both locally and internationally.
